Messed up
Yesterday I went to the hospital before work (planned routine stuff no emergency) and got home earlier than expected so I decided if I hurried I could shave before I went to work. Well Im all sure you can figure out what happened next.A few cuts and a chunk taken out of my neck later and I was off to work after a lousy shave and actually ended up getting there 15 mins early
Just a reminder, straight razors and the word HURRY or any of its synonyms just dont go together well

That's why I have a couple DE razors. It's a safety net so to speak.
Slow and easy, Straights are made to enjoy. So take your time and enjoy your shave

Yeah I have DE`s I use when in a hurry as well but for some dumb reason I wanted to use a straight!

I was using a kamisory....luckly we have a jaw bone otherwise who knows where it would have stopped
)
The hand that was streching the skin caught foam and slipped...because i was in a hurry.

Been there done that, and as other mentioned I also have some DE if im in a hurry. But sometimes it dosnt matter. You just want to shave with that straight anyway.
