Humans fear what they dont understand. Its a fact skydiving in my opinion is a verry safe sport. 800+ skydives with not so much as a sprained ankle. Water skiing thats dangerouse! There was a time every man shaved with a strait, people werent cutting throats and falling over dead by the dozens. I have converted both friends i have taken the time to introduce to wet shaveing, a little education went a long way for me.

Thanked: 55Skydiving is in the category of a lot of other fun sports that some call "extreme" and that is that it's a safe sport but very unforgiving. Most anything that is fun is in that category.
I never saw shaving with a straight as scary though. I did get that you need to be careful.
I think I initially nicked myself more with a DE than I have with a straight.

Thanked: 3795I on the other hand never have cut myself with a DE and cannot understand how anyone can cut themself with a safety razor unless they were to slide the razor sideways.
