Default Back of the neck. And now I’m done

Between haircuts I like to finish a shave by taking the last of my lather and soaping up my neck. I grab a hand mirror and do one ATG pass from my shoulder up to my hairline. Anyone else finish by cleaning up the neck?

No, I do that separately with a DE.

Either way, it makes a good shave complete. You earn your Clubman for the day. Lol

I use a guarded straight on the back of my neck, after I give myself a hair cut.

I give myself a haircut even though there is not much to cut. For the back of my neck I wrap my belt around the back of my neck from ear to ear. Take my straight and shave along belt line.

Mr. Wahl Trimmer is responsible for my "haircuts" every 4-5 days, so I've been doing my own WTG neck clean-ups on the subsequent shave. After practicing this a few times, I used a hand mirror and noticed I was starting too high and ruining the shape of my hairline. At that point, I began to feel where my hairline ended and start there.

Placing a bit of fingertip between the spine of the razor and my neck served well as a guide to maintain a proper shave angle.

Man, you guys rock! I wish I could. I don't have the mirrors to be able, and even when I did, I couldn't do it worth a ... I do have a wife though! Woot to the wife!

True Story: Way back in the day, buddy/roommate and I were going out to a concert, then out on the town (no it wasn't the Hip Speedster ). We got all dressed up and as we were about to leave, my buddy always out the door first, I noticed being behind him, the back of his neck. It was like a freaking jungle. I told him about it laughing... by the time we got to the elevators he was disgruntled enough that he turned around and went back to the apartment to correct the situation.

I waited and 5 minutes at the most later, he came out of the bathroom with a line so straight, I was in awe. I asked him how on earth he did that so well - so fast. "Painters tape."

Seriously, the dude would tape up the back of his neck and then shave right up to it. Freaking wild lol! I never emulated it though.

I let the barber take care of it when he cuts my hair. I went 22 years without a hair cut after the Army. Now a haircut costs 3 times as much. But i figure i saved enough money on hair cuts i can pay for it now.
