I know in Colorado, A raffle can only be done by a non-profit organization. Well, Its not-profit to SRP and the funds go to a donation to a charity so I can't see how we would be breaking any laws.

But this is just my understanding of it. I've been known to be wrong once in a while.

    It could work?

Birnando's excellent contribution could really garner some great contributions and SOMEONE would have a sweet custom!

TBH, it would be most interesting if the winner could choose between all the razors Birnando pictured.

I may toss a Benjamin at that!

    Just a thought.....
    Cool!
    That sounds great!

Yeah, I'm fine with the winner picking one out of the razors I've shown in my picture above.

Actually, SRP is not a non-profit.
There is more to being a non profit than simply not making a profit It is a defined legal status with certain rights and duties. Nothing we do or did would qualify.

However, if the money does go directly to movember, which is a non profit, then it will be ok.

Let me guess. It costs money to be a non-profit organisation. Lol.

Yes, a Not For Profit, aka 501(C)3, is from the IRS Code. There is a full application and approval process.
