What was that dark colored ‘finishing strop’ that he used after the brown leather?

Thanked: 3That was a stunning shave! Wow! It is risky, but I may as well admit I teared up just now watching this most incredible shave. The connection that barber has with his task, and his incredible level of skill. I feel lucky to have seen this. I have soooo much to think about from this. Wow!

Here in SE PA there's a very well-known Barbershop where folks come from the trip-state area for cuts, but mostly for the incredible shaves they deliver. The attached video is worth a watch.https://youtu.be/lGV5U6fYzkw
Although it's 5 years old, the same barber is there and he's trained the other barbers in the shop to provide the same incredible shave. I go there every three to four months for a full face and head shave and it is really worth it. ($60)-Jeff
