Thanked: 13234Each time of day has it's good points and bad, for you it seems that the choice has been made already... Make the best of it, and enjoy your shave, it is your time after all....
I actually shave at night usually on Thursdays because of our early morning Manager's meeting on Fridays, I enjoy the night time shave just as much as a morning shave, the only difference I see, is that my face is not quite as smooth ATG, as if I had shaved this morning.....

I prefer night anymore. More time to enjoy the experience and experiment. I'm awake (no small consideration when using a straight). I also have a bus to catch in the morning and even a few minutes late can be stressful.

I, too, am a nocturnal shaver. My current work schedule has me up and about as early 0530; and my hands aren't steady and my eyes are bleary that early. So, I wait until I am home at night to shower and shave.

I shave the night before work. It is just easer than doing in the morning.

Afternoon or night time for me too. I am in
no way a morning person. I literally work
three minutes from my house so I get up about
fifteen minutes before I have to be to work.
Gives me enough time to dress and hit the coffee
drive through.
I also have a three year old in the house who likes to
be everywhere I am, so I do it in the afternoon
when he is napping or at night when he's sleeping.

I am not a morning person. I like to shave at night it helps calm me down. Like when I have a bad day at work, today for instance, when I get home it is a nice long shower, lather, strop, lather again, and shave. A little bit of me time in the evening.

Nicks
Nicks and cuts will be MORE visible the next day.
They actually don't show much the first day, when you have put your styptic pencil on them.
The next day, when they start to heal, they become inflamed and red and more visible.
It takes about 3 days for a cut to go away. Don't fool yourself.
I shave both morning and night because I seem always to be honing a razor and checking it in the evening.
