I'd been doing two WTG with lather passes for a while to work on my WTG technique, but I found it wasn't any less likely to result in irritation than a regular two-pass shave. The last couple of days I've followed your suggestion and I'm really liking it. I had done water-only passes before going ATG to touch up, but this seems to knock the stubble down a bit more so the ATG pass is more effective.

This one gets a from me.
