Sorry for your loss (goes without saying here).
That said, congrats for not trying to catch it and make it 10x worse. I'd rather live to shave another day than save a razor, and commend you for doing likewise.
(you won't be doing much straight shaving for a long time, if ever, if you've lopped off a digit or two)

This razor might be the perfect victim for Project Coochie Razor, though. Is there an inch or so of undamaged blade at the heel? If so, I can cut it down to 1". Would you be so kind as to PM me, sir? This razor might be about to receive new life...

I can see franken dwarf now, I am really sorry, those are great razors. I have to say that that is why i don't strop in between passes though.
