I agree with shaving it every day also, and now that I'm doing the two razor, it makes it a whole lot easier (thanks again for that tip James). One for the face and one for the head, cuts down on having to go ATG which was HOT on the back of the crown of my head. I and I do mean HOT, the razor felt like I had run it under hot water before taking the 5-6 stokes from the base of the neck to the crown. DE thing, from days-yrs gone by.

    Kind regards,

Man I've been shaving my head for 10+ years now, shaving it with a DE or my Headblade while in the shower and your video just scared the hell out of me. I've been using a straight for 2+ years or there abouts and I couldn't even watch the whole video. Felt like I was waiting for the train wreck to happen. I know me, and I'd end up with plenty of scars and a big hat to cover them up with when I go out. You've got my respect...

    Regards,

Well, there were incidents and accidents along the way but nothing that left a scar, fortunately. I think you'd be surprised how straightforward shaving your head with a straight is. My head (maybe not others) is a lot smoother than my face - no abrupt angle changes like at the jawline etc. The only tricky part is around the ears, really. And that just takes a little practice and care.

The back of the head seems like it would cause the most problems, but in all honesty I've never cut or nicked that area with a straight. Any nicks I've had have always occurred behind the ear.

    James.
