    Default Problematic area

There is one area "red circle" who do not shave hair. WTG but I did not shave. Only XTG or ATG shave this area but I cause irritation. It is as if they were hairs stuck to the skin. I tried with a DE and the same applies. I got very good with a shaved only WTG stretching the skin. Any thoughts?

    How is your preparation pre-shave?

What do you use to i.e. brush, soap, lather?

    Is your razor sharp enough?

How is your angle of cutting?

That area and going against the grain on my upper lip will always let me know if my razor is sharp enough!
I agree with poona! check those areas to make sure they are adequate!

Yes, Wet shave from 14 years taught by my father

    Is your razor sharp enough?

    Yes, honed by Lx_emergency.
with shavette nor shave this area, the same applies.
Currently with hone and pastes achieving a similar acuity in my other straights.

How is your angle of cutting?

    less of 30º

When a straight shave my chin whithout problems "hair hard" is that this sharp. This does not happened until Firestart and Lx_emergency I honed 2 straights and can be referenced to how it should be.

Sorry for my bad english, I do not know if I explained well.

    Thanks for you helps

I am not sure I understand. are you saying that this never happened until firestart and lx honed your razors or are you saying that when you use the razors they honed it doesn't happen, only on the razors you hone?

Do you use linen and then leather when you strop, or just leather?

I had no sharp straight well until they helped me "Alex and Firestard". Before it was worse ...
The same thing happens if I use a shavette

Leather only, no linen in mi strop.

    Thanks

Using linen helps keep your razor sharper for an extended time.
I would like to make two suggestions. First get a linen strop to go with your leather and use it daily, and second, it sounds like you might need a touch up on your razor! I would try linen first though!

My suspicion is that a thorough stropping on plain linen will get your blade as sharp as it needs to be!

Yeah I'd go with this too.

Give your razor a good 80-100 laps on the linen and really see if you can get away with having to hone it.
