Only as custom-made-razors, not off the rack.

But the bag sound pretty good to me - as has been mentioned, I'd go for a Wapi myself.

This is a VERY different definition of bug-out-bag than is in use on some of the other forums I post on. (most notably, ar15.com, hahaha. any other arfcommers out there?)

    I have one Wapi all ready, from Mike R. at www.thewellhonedrazor.com and I love it. I wouldn't mind having a second. (Or seven . . . . .)

This is as far as my thinking has taken me so far:
    • The razor should be stainless?
    • The razor should be a wedge, so it is less likely to chip.
    • The Strop should be small, perhaps one of Tony's manmade material ones.
    • Shaving stick, GOOD!

My definition of "bug out" doesn't strictly require shaving at all...edged (and other) weapons and tools figure more, along with fire making and navigation capabilities, water purification or filtration....

Anyway....I often travel on short notice, in my little bag (size of a small book) is a microfiber towel, a Wilkinson Sword shave stick (open_razor aka wojtec76-thanks! these are great!) and an Omega Syntex synthetic brush. To this I add whatever straight I want, preferably stainless, however, and 2 small hones. I also newly purchased one of Tony Miller's synthetic travel strops, and it will be occupying part of the space as well, now.
Pretty much customize how you like. I like everything low maintenance as possible.

What are you guys doing for beard prep with respect to these kits? I would assume you would not shave without hot water, but maybe hot running water is another matter.

Say a guy wanted something for his hunting lodge or for hiking.
