Thanked: 31
Every couple of weeks my wife will sit at the window with a mirror and a tweezers and trim up around the corners of her mouth. She has little invisible (to me) hairs that grow and that she can't stand. OUCH! But she says it doesn't hurt to do it anymore. And I can't help but wonder what someone would try to put a baby to sleep that can't be posted here. Probably not worth knowing if it's that bad.

Strangely enough ...
My sister confided to me just recently that she experiences a 'man shave' as well as the standard leg shave.
I asked her what she meant by 'man shave' and she motioned as if she was shaving her cheek w/ a disposable stating "you know...'
I dont know if she would be into straight shaving her face, but she shaves.

Thanked: 8When I got a strait razor shave in japan at the barber they shaved my forehead, shaped my eyebrows and shaves basically every inch of open skin except my nose.
I find it interesting how many of the guys shave their arms in Japan and that they find hair to be unclean, yet I have heard from friends that it is basically impossible for a woman to get a bikini wax. I mean they shave everything except the shrubs.Last edited by Akady; 09-17-2008 at 02:33 AM.

It would seem to me, the results of that shave are far better than WAXING!

Facial shaving women
I've shaved several women's faces over the years. They all loved it. Just lather the face well, and use the lightest of razor strokes, no pressing. The gentler you are the more she will like it. SB

Thanked: 1Im surprised that so many seemed to have a negative result with "threading". I had it done a few times but because it is not common in my area it gets really expensive so I learned to do my own. any one with questions i can direct you in the right way.
As for shaving the face? I think that it would be to abrasive for my face. Honestly I Nair my upper lip and thread my eyebrows. I get longer results and a less stubbly feeling. Oh and for it to be near my eyes, forget it.
BTW HI, i'm new

I just shared that video with my wife and daughter. They had some interesting expressions on there faces, especially when he worked around the eyes. I don't think they will do it anytime soon but appreciated the skill of the barber. That woman's skin looked so healthy, maybe it is more healthy than many other procedures that they do.
