Well, I actually shave every morning Monday-Friday, Saturday evening and not at all on Sunday.

I'm about to shave off 3 days growth myself. Even that is too much and the first pass is usually tougher. As a result i've just finished touching up the razor on a hone. I'll take extra care in pre-shave prep too.

I unfortunately have to shave everyday (five days). However I can only do two or three days in a row with a straight before my tender skin starts getting raw. Sunday is the pamper shave where I gat to take extra time.

2-3 days. Need to shave about every 36 hours (with a straight), get away with every 48.

That's strange; I get less irritation with a straight than with any other way I've shaved.

I mostly shave every day, but I do take a few days off per month from shaving because of sheer laziness.

I shave every day but maybe not at the same time. As I've said elsewhere, I have only ever shaved with the grain, single pass where possible - and i never get skin irritation, possibly because of the one-pass style. Up until a week or two ago i had a part-beard with thin sideburns and joiny-up bit along the bow of the jaw but, in a fir of fed-upness (is there such a word?) I got Erik Bloodaxe (aka my Fenney razor shown elsewhere on the site) out of his den, stropped him up and wacko, the beard was gone. The thing went through an inch of full-grown beard like a light sabre through an Empire robot. Couple of nicks to the chin proves that you DO forget just how to move, even when you've SR'd for as long as I have.

My top lip now no longer feels like cardboard, either - a most odd feeling whenever I take off a moustache of any duration. Anyone else get that?
