Thread: How long is it taking others to shave their legs?

This probably doesn't count, because it are not my own legs that I shave, but my wife's.
It takes us something in between 30 and 40 minutes, ankles to bikini line.
Of course, since it's pure quality time, we don't rush at all, quite the contrary .
I do only one pass, mostly against the grain. (I see no reason to do a second pass)

I know I'm reviving an ANCIENT thread but I was curious about this, too... so I wanted to add my 2 cents.

One pass, against the grain, ankle to edge of bikini line usually takes me about 45 min from first lather to last rinse. So with prep and cleanup I'm probably in the bathroom ~1 hr.

I shave top to bottom, and usually find that it takes ~15 min to do my thighs (front and back), but somehow the lower half always takes me at least 30 min! I think it's those tricky knees and ankles.

When doing my own legs, I only do below the knees. I typically use a straight, and can manage a single pass in about 10 minutes per side. Using the DE razor takes a little longer, because of the smaller area of coverage. Of course, this does not include cleaning up my "hobbit feet"

Takes me 15-20, 30 if my lather is being testy. But I'm using a DE. Once I master that I may move to a straight.

From out of the shower to finish...I take my time and relax and get it done right, around the neighborhood of around half an hour with a safety razor...wanting to get my first strait soon though.
