Default How long is it taking others to shave their legs?

How long is it taking others to shave their legs?
Just curious because it still takes me over an hour and a half, if not two hours (I tried to finish quicker yesterday and ended up with some cuts behind my legs).
I only ever cut myself when I'm rushing to finish quicker
So any short cuts to bring the time down without severing my femoral artery
A picture for your thoughts (I let Buckler take some pics of me shaving yesterday, so he may post those if he likes)

LOL Fab! I can't wait to see the pic's Pearl and I take it you were wearing your posh knickers this time.

Do you do a full leg shave or a half leg? It takes me an hour to do a half leg (just above the knee) as I don't have hairy thighs I usually don't bother with a full leg shave. I don't know how long it takes the other girls but I seem to remember an hour being about the norm.

I hope DavidsBonanza sees this thread as he shaves his legs being a cyclist.

So is that half a leg (one leg- per hour) or half both legs in one hour?
And also two passes or one? I do two passes up to just above the knee.

Sorry Pearl, I should have made myself more clearer.

From lathering up to putting my blade away after shaving both legs to just above the knee is about an hour. I don't think I take enough time to do it though as I usually end up nicking myself around my knee and around the back of my calf.

I do one pass ATG then tidy up where needed.

    Well ladies,
I haven't timed my leg shaves but I think I am in the neighborhood of an hour plus or minus ten minutes. I go half to two thirds of the way up my thighs. I start just below the knee and work up then get the lower legs to finish. The back of my knees and thighs are the trickiest areas to shave. The back of my thighs are like my neck in that the hair grows in all different directions. I do like Silver, one ATG pass and clean up where needed. I use one of my double arrow razors to get the legs, it's a big blade but it cuts well and it holds a lot of soap before you have to rinse it off. I will probably shave my legs again on Thursday and I will time it.

    Happy Shaving Girls!

One pass, against the grain, ankle to bikini line, both legs, takes me about half an hour. I do it in three or four sections per leg (front and back of calf, front and back of thigh), depending on water hardness.

Yes, Pearl, the last time I cut myself was in June. I'll be posting shaving pics that my wonderful boyfriend took last week just as soon as my camera's battery recharges (so... tomorrow).

OK, so I timed my leg shave last night and I am a little faster than I thought in my first post here. From start, opening the cupboard, to finish, putting away a dry razor, it took me 35 minutes. Fist I stropped 25 linen 50 leather, next I did hot towel, lather, shave. I separate the shave into four quadrants, below the knee to mid thigh, and ankle to knee, left and right. My progression is left upper, right upper, left lower, right lower. After the shave I took a quick cool rinse in the shower then aftershave splash+balm. Lastly, i cleaned my brush, dried the razor, and put everything away. Only one small nick on the second stroke of the shave, careless.

    Happy shaving,
