    I use the microwave too, fast and pretty accurate to get the right temp every time.

    For goodness sake start with a clean towel. Clean towels should be
    the first seven day set a shaver owns.

    Try to never put a wet towel in the laundry hamper. They
    get funky.... Find a place/ rack that lets it air dry then toss
    it in a hamper.

    I use a rice steamer in the bathroom. it heats several small towels as hot as can be.
