i have been straight shaving for about 6months or so, i still new but am getting some pretty good shaves, much better then any cartridge or DE which is great. one thing that always comes up as a problem is the mole on my upper lip. it is positioned in a very similar spot to Cindy Crawfords and is bumped up just slightly. i used to knick it fairly often with cartridge razors and i haven't knicked it yet but it sure is a pain. i haven't been able to do a full ATG on my upper lip yet without discomfort so i just leave it at the XTG but i just can't find a comfortable way to get around the thing.

does anyone have any tips or experience with something like this. because of where it is there isn't much space between my nose and it ( maybe a blade width) so i usually wait til the water touch up at the end to get around it and it is never smooth.

maybe i'm stuck with having a stubble patch there, which isn't the end of the world but it does suck when i get a great shave and the girlfriend says "oh it is so smooth but you missed a spot on your mole" and then tries to tweexe them which is much more painful then you would think.
