    Under wifes request I tried.
Let's just say that the feather is not the tool for the job. The combination of sharp and unmanoueverablity do not go well together.
DE ok. straight - not advised unless you trust somebody else enough to do it.

When are you back from vacation? I want to know how this goes! There's no way i'd have a go at my plums with a straight. You are a brave or foolish man & i can't wait to find out which it is!

I shave down South and my legs. I'd never use a straight for that though! Disposible triple blades are the best and gentlest for getting the sensitive bits. See, I bicycle and after you sit on that bike saddle for an hour, you appreciate the smoothness.

i've shaved round the pickle, but i wouldn't dare go near the jibbles and bits with a straight...too bumpy and veiny and wrinkly...shoot...one slip and it's goodbye gonad!

I'll be getting in late Saturday night, so the earliest possible attempt would be Sunday. But who knows if I'll actually be brave enough to try...

I must say, though, it was so easy with the DE (I thought that would be scary), so I am feeling a bit confident.

Hate to do this, since it sure ain't as cool as a SE for *that* shaving, but this is the safe way to go:

Meh... I've used clippers with the lowest guard possible, I've used a Mach 3, and I've used a DE. Time to man up and use a straight.

So I'm reading this thread and just now "Creep" by Stone Temple Pilots comes on the radio, ..."I'm half the man I used to be...". No kidding. I think its a sign.
