Thread: Any of the gents doing extracurricular shaving?

We've all seen (or heard, rather) that some of the ladies are, but I'm wondering if any of the gents are doing any non-traditional shaving.

Any stories of success or failure?
Any information to share?

yeah I've done a few "rooster" shaves. pretty easy.

big important tip: don't use a spike point. last time I did that I nicked my taint. you think a styptic pencil hurts on your FACE...

Noted on the spikes. What did you do with regards to lather?

i didn't lather, i did it in the shower under running water. i thought the ability to see what i was doing outweighed the extra smoothness of lather.

I tried it once with a vintage spike point. Never again. I nicked my nutsack.

holli4pirating -- here's a tip: there's no such thing as stretching too much on the scrotum.

EDIT: heh heh, I got away with 'scrotum' on the swear filter.

wow. That is one thing I would never do.....

Maybe I'll give it a shot when I get back from vacation. I used to use a Mach 3, but I converted to a DE recently. I would like to try with a straight, but was a bit nervous.

I'm doing physical therapy to fix my knee, and the guy asked me to shave my knee because the tape stays better to hairless skin when my kneecap needs adjustment. I cut the heck out of myself, and the back of my knee was nearly impossible. The surface and immediate sides of the kneecap was tough too, because of the curves.
