Maybe I'll give it a shot when I get back from vacation. I used to use a Mach 3, but I converted to a DE recently. I would like to try with a straight, but was a bit nervous.

Thanked: 21I'm doing physical therapy to fix my knee, and the guy asked me to shave my knee because the tape stays better to hairless skin when my kneecap needs adjustment. I cut the heck out of myself, and the back of my knee was nearly impossible. The surface and immediate sides of the kneecap was tough too, because of the curves.

Under wifes request I tried.
Let's just say that the feather is not the tool for the job. The combination of sharp and unmanoueverablity do not go well together.
DE ok. straight - not advised unless you trust somebody else enough to do it.

When are you back from vacation? I want to know how this goes! There's no way i'd have a go at my plums with a straight. You are a brave or foolish man & i can't wait to find out which it is!

I shave down South and my legs. I'd never use a straight for that though! Disposible triple blades are the best and gentlest for getting the sensitive bits. See, I bicycle and after you sit on that bike saddle for an hour, you appreciate the smoothness.

Hate to do this, since it sure ain't as cool as a SE for *that* shaving, but this is the safe way to go:
