I think this has come up before. With a poll even!
No matter... I'll answer anyway: I'm a slow shaver. I like to take my time with things. I usualy take 40 minutes with a shower and clean-up included. The shave itself may take 20, 25 or even 30 minutes. It depends on the sharpness of the blade also. I find a sharper blade to be a faster tool. If I haven't the time to pamper myself I'll be quicker: I did a demo shave for a friend and it took me 15 minutes with my usual routine. However, if I have to rush in the morning... I prefer not shaving at all. Last time I rushed I nicked myself 3 times on the neck.

Thanked: 398I almost never shave in the morning...I wonder if that would make a difference in the results...
I'd like to do it but the girlfriend stays in there forever so I just don't even bother trying heh.

I'm a night (or afternoon) shaver. I'd say it probably takes me about 20 mins from the time I pull the razor out to when I put it away.
I have heard that shaving in the morning can be easier on the face, but I'm not a morning person at all, so there's no way that would happen.

On days I work I shave in the morning and on days off at night. On my days off I usually go out trail riding on a bicycle and get all sweated up. If I have shaved first it burns. Also I like shaving at night. Then I have no time constraints and I can really relax and enjoy it even more.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 398I did my first xtg pass this evening! My face feels pretty darn smooth! I tried a bit of ATG on the my neck but I got sorta scared when I got close to my jaw line heh. I've only been at this for two weeks now so I can't skip too many steps I suppose.

Thanked: 3795The lathering takes longer than the shaving. Never ever skimp on the lathering or you will pay for it!
