    Stupid tea-light candles don't come with any way to regulate the heat! Another brilliant idea bites the dust.
    Still, the bowl is perfect for making lather, and I put it in a sink of hot water on the stand so the lather stays warm, so it worked out OK.
    Don’t the tines on those forks wreak havoc on your face?

    I just picked one of these up off of amazon..works like a dream--warm lather is a luxurious addition to a shave. If you don't have $50 to spend on a high-end scuttle, look for one of these.

    Is the bowl big enough to whip up lather in or is it just big enough to hold the brush and keep it warm?
