Poor man's scuttle
Found this on Amazon. I am thinking about getting this for JoeD. I think this would work.. what about you??

I've been wanting a scuttle but they tend to be pretty pricey. This could be a great solution.
Ghetto fabulous... I think that's an appropriate term for this find.

Thanked: 9I don't like scuttles, even the new Georgetown large scuttle. The are not large enough to create lather and the water cools quickly. If the water is too hot, it breaks down the cream as well. No real good way to go here so I am happy with the high rim $3 chinese noodle bowl from Wal-Mart.

Check out my Cheap Scuttle pics under Brushes, Mugs and stuff, I found a little corningware 7oz white bowl, and some little spoons in the silverware section, and if you have a Target by you, no shipping...I posted some pics...

Stupid tea-light candles don't come with any way to regulate the heat! Another brilliant idea bites the dust.
Still, the bowl is perfect for making lather, and I put it in a sink of hot water on the stand so the lather stays warm, so it worked out OK.
