Thread: touching up say 30 minutes after you shave

was wondering. tonight i got a great shave other than under my goatee. about 20 minutes after the shave, i feel stubble there, even with the grain. i had touched up or tried to during what i will call the main shave.

do any of you men touch up say 20 or 30 minutes later> do u use say just a light touch and dry shave or do you splash a little water and rub a shave stick? any hints?

Not me, Sam! I have learned my lessons well; when you are done shaving, STOP shaving! I think if you can feel that stubble field during the shave, then another lather there, and a few cross-grain, or against-grain strokes should solve it.

You should not have to shave again 30 minutes later!

Chaaaz is right. When you have finished STOP! I find that this is when I nick myself going back for that one lone hair (or hairs). I find after a good shave I can go 1 1/2 days before I have to shave again.

Actually, I notice that my face is smoother 30 minutes after the save when the natural oil is back in the face. Hmmmmmm.....lol. Lynn

lynn: yes, in some spots on my neck, it seems that the stubble recedes or something. but that area just under my goatee remains with stubble. any suggestions? by the way, the feather straight is great to touch up with. ill keep the DE in emergency but so far, one day of nothing but straights - first time since i started
