I usually shave at night so that I don't make any bloody mistakes by rushing through in the morning. The whole experience, from shower to end, is almost an hour. I count the shower time as beard prep, for sure, then followed by the shave.

I have less than 10 shaves under my belt, which most likely accounts for the long time in front of the mirror, but I don't mind it a bit!!

I usually only do two passes to reduce irritation, but even with three or more passes with a straight, I get less irritation than just one pass with Fusion. Can't beat that with a stick!!

I think an hour from getting into the shower to walking out the bathroom is an hour well spent. You will speed up, but not because you try and speed up, just because you will be more familiar with what you're doing.

I take about 20 min, I find I hit a "wall" so to speak where I know that any farther will just cause pain, so I've learned to stop there. some shaves are better than others, today went really well with just a few rough spots left. I do a WTG, partial XTG and partial ATG, and I only leave my bottom lip, soul-patch area,
