Thanked: 3Lynn can make em sharp yo!
So I sent 3 razors to Lynn to be honed...and I got them back the other day and used one...amazing! He truely knows how to make them sharp as balls! I haven't had a shave that comfortable yet! I'm stoked and I would recommend ANYONE who needs their razors honed it is well worth the money!

Yes, I have some that were honed by Lynn and they are the benchmark for the level I am shooting for in my honing. I'm not there yet but I'm working towards the goal. The smoothest shavers I have were honed by Lynn.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I feel inclined to agree with the original poster.
'Sharp as Balls' is a good way to put it.
Definately worth the dough.

I have a few done by Lynn, As a matter of fact, I just bought another Bismarck off SRD, you can't beat their prices, plus Lynn honed it, so I'm looking forward to it. I always feel like a little kid at Christmas when these boxes come, I can't wait to open them. Normally, the Postman gets here right before I shave, so it's perfect. I work Eve's.
I just wish my Girl shared my enthusiasm about the boxes, I keep telling her, "it's soap"
No, it's not another razor!....She say's I need to save for retirement, Ahhh, What does she know, I live for today brothers.......ZibWe have assumed control !

Thanked: 293I just picked up a beautiful Henckels Friodur that I think I will send to Lynn for a benchmark. I also have 3 coming back from Utopian (WB Medium ground hollow, 2 Geo Wostenholm "Peerless), so I can see how different honers do affect different razors. I also have 2 from Sham (11/16 W&B and a R. Klaas 11/16) which are damn sharp, and one from RayG (Boker Red Injun 101 11/16), though I don't know if he's actually the one that sharpened it but it's also incredibly sharp.
Needless to say, they are all great shavers and I don't think I'll be needing to hone anything as long as you guys are around .
Keep up the great work.

I have a buddy who has been shaving with a straight razor on weekends. It is a razor Lynn honed in about two minutes for me at the asheville meet up last summer. My buddy brought me the razor a couple of weeks ago, saying it was duller than when he got it and I offered to sharpen it back up for him.
Ha.
When he handed it to me, it was no worse than the best edges I have ever shaved with honed by myself. I told him just to strop it or send it back to Lynn - when it comes to honing Lynn does not mess around!
