Sorry Alpsman...that stings! I wanged the base of my neck, where it transitions into the shoulder/collarbone area, a couple months ago...it was probably 3/4 to an 1" long and pretty deep, like yours. I just stypticed it and waited to see how it would go.
There is no scar or mark to see now. I think, given the cleaness of a razor cut, the likelyhood of a scar is just about zero.

nice incision scar? You mean the one you got in a bar fight with a 50 strong mob armed with little more than a handful of peanuts and a stomach full of beer?

I reckon it will heal clean, if not there are all sorts of products out there to shift scars. A friend of mine shifted a pretty ugly burn scar on his arm with 'bio oil' or something, amazing stuff.

You guys are too much! Cool,
Hey Doc, my wife might not appreciate the self-inflicted "lure". She already thinks I have lost it with, "All this straight razor craziness!" He he . . ..
    Thanks.

I've done that several times. In my case, the scars have all faded to the point of near invisibility, but it takes a long time. (Sometimes many months). I use vitamin E oil on them, which is available at the drug store in little gel capsules which you can poke with a pin & squeeze out the oil.

My worst one is from early in my learning curve. It was REALLY REALLY BAD. Now I have to be in the right light to even see it, and even then it's barely visible.
