Thread: lefty/righty ...

does everybody use both hands shaving?
or does somebody use just their prominent hand?
so far i've had only 3 shaves (only three cuts on the 3rd shave, with a WTG & ATG) but i have been shaving with my right hand, sometimes it is a bit tricky getting at some spots.
how do you do it?

Personally, I use both hands and shave absolutely
symmetrically on both sides of my face. Others do
get by just fine with one hand. I recommend using
both hands from the beginning if you can.

Both hands. It certainly seemed akward the first few times, but you make remarkable progress very quickly. Give it a try.

I started out using both hands. Initially the left side was a bit awkward, since I am very dominantly right handed; but, after about five or six shaves it became more comfortable. Now, it is second nature.

I used both hand from the beginner. You will make progress very quickly.
A couple of weeks ago there was a thread about lathering with your off hand as practice. You might give it a try between shaves.

Somebody did a poll a few months back to reveal that 2/3 of SRP members use both hands when they shave.
