does everybody use both hands shaving?
or does somebody use just their prominent hand?
so far i've had only 3 shaves (only three cuts on the 3rd shave, with a WTG & ATG) but i have been shaving with my right hand, sometimes it is a bit tricky getting at some spots.
how do you do it?

Personally, I use both hands and shave absolutely
symmetrically on both sides of my face. Others do
get by just fine with one hand. I recommend using
both hands from the beginning if you can.

Gentlemen,

I use both hands.

Even though for the past few months I am reduced to one pass only because of an injury to my left hand, I still use both hands. I tried to use the right hand only on both sides, but it did not feel right, like driving backward.

I gave up and chose to shave with both hands, even if it meant only on weekends, and only one pass. The rest of the time, I use my loving double edge safety razors, which I have used throughout the years, anyway.

So gentlemen, for me it is both hands.

yes, I do. Each hand has an angle advantage over the other on certain strokes and certain parts of the face. I am right handed and just started slowly using the left and the use of the left grew more and more until I can shave independently with the left.

Because I discovered advantages with each hand in getting a superior BBS shave, I use both(one at a time) during every shave.

Good Luck with it and give yourself extra time shaving.

Is this the general reason for using 2 hands or do people like the challenge? Or other reasons for using 2 hands?

Both hands.
Left hand for the right side of my face, right hand for the left side.
