Default Shaving in the garden (pics inside)

Today I tried a long, but not well planned, idea I had some time ago.
Great weather, so I thought I might have I nice shave in the garden.
I took some pics. Sorry for the quality, I have problems with my monitor, and pics appear different here than on other computers.

That's the table I put my mirror and the other stuff on.
There was the first problem: I had to look down on the mirror which was not very comfortable, comapared to standing in the bathroom and looking flat into the mirror.

I shaved with my boker 5/8 "Shavers Delight", a PILS shaving soap and my aftershave was a Speick.
The good thing was, that the lather was pretty warm because it was so sunny.

I had two bowls. One with hot water and one with cold for the rinse after the shave. One towel was for the hot water preshave treatment and also for the cold water rinse, the other was to dry may face after the shave.
The water kept cool, because i had ice cubes in it.

The shave was okay. But I recommend it only advanced users.
The main problem was that I had to look down on the mirror.
    The other probleme were bees
As you can see there is only lawn, so if you have a nice terrace that would help.
Also the next time, I need one more towel.
Another problem was that it was 2 p.m.
Next time I should do it in the morning, when it's not that hot
Anyway, the garden is pretty relaxing.

That sounds like a good idea, we usually have good weather around here...May be an idea to avoid looking down to see yourself in the mirror is to place a good pile of books or similar under the mirror, so it is at your face level?

Great idea, but get rid of your clover (Ortho-double strength) - Bees will be gone and then you can try Part 2 after wards!

Get yourself a mirror on a stand. Or build a simple sand so that you hang that mirror from it.

JP has a good idea there. Make sure you try this again and take care of those small imperfections. Looks like it can be a great experience.

    Default Shaving in the garden

    Gentlemen,

I love those pictures of shaving in the yard for the peaceful mood they create. It's enough to try to recreate the scene for myself. Except that I live in a condo. There is a lovely park nearby, however, but if I played the scene out there, the local constabulary would probably arrest me and ship me to the hoosegow.

I might try it on my balcony and invite the pigeons and the sparrows to watch.

    Regards,

    Obie
