Thread: Music in your shave routine

I listen to church music incase I accidently sever my jugular and find it necessary to check out.

I often listen to Vivaldi or Frank Sinatra during my week-end shaves.

Fun fact: The father of Antonio Vivaldi was a barber.

RHCP or something similar. Nicks are more a function of my inattention than of distraction.

I've stopped listening to music, I get to into it and either sing or bob a long to it. Both end in nicks. Good fun though, relaxing.

Gentlemen,

I generally prefer the quiet of the bathroom for my shave. I want to hear the full symphony that my shaving ritual performs, from the sweep of the razor across the strop to the gentle scraping of my beard with the sweet Thiers-Issard.

On occasions that I do listen to music while shaving, a Mozart string quartet sounds just fine, or a Bach cello suite. The music makes an ideal counterpoint for the sounds of the shave.
