Default recommendations for a shaping razor

I wear a goatee soemtimes and am feeling like I would like to have a small razor with a spike point on it to drag down the edge of the beard. Can somebody advise me as to a good solution for shaving around and along beard lines. I would prefer it to be a straight razor of course.

    Korndog,
Check out some of the tiny DOVO stainless models at Classic Shaving. I had a 2/8 (actually measures 3/8) with a slightly rounded "French Point".

I didn't keep ine long as I found the thin section blade made it hard to maintain the correct face to blade geometry and I always felt I was on the verge of amputation instead of shaving.

I don't see them there under the Dovo section. I noticed there is a small feather that that might work.

Korn, I have a TI with the "notch" tip. That makes the edge have sort of a point that is great for tight areas. It's desert ironwood, a singing blade, 7/8", and says "Hollow Ground and Fully Warranted" in gold on the blade. It's a sweet one, and I think it might work. If find a link to it, I'll post it soon... I also have the Dovo 2/8 and it's pretty sweet for trimming. It's especially nice for under the nose because being so thin, you can lay it down as much as you need.

There it is Korn. Hard to see the notch tip, but it's there. If you want a higher rez pic, I can snap one and email it to you...

Excellent 3! I'm sure tempted by that 2/8. I'll look for the TI too; shoot me that link if you can. Thanks!!

I suppose you use hickory shats and gutta percha balls too.
