As far as head shaving is concerned, I think Jimbo is the resident expert on that. He has a video posted that might be of interest to you. I highly encourage you to give straight shaving a try. Read the beginner section in the Wiki...that's a great place to start your "education" hehe. And when considering a razor, check out the Classifieds. New razors get put up there often, and many are excellent for a beginner, and highly affordable, not to mention most of them will come shave ready, just be sure it says that, or ask the seller if it is.
