Thread: Wipe or Rinse?

well, I started out rinsing in water, but decided that I would start wiping the blade with toilet paper only to try and keep them from tarnishing.

I've moved to choosing a nice t-shirt from the dirty laundry pile. It does not waste paper, nor cause a clean item to need washing.

I'm just curious, how you guys who rinse in water all the time keep the blade from tarnishing? I do live in a very humid climate, NC. Even when I kept my blades out of the bathroom, if I rinsed in water they would become discolored, especially near the edge of the blade. Now, I don't use any water to rinse them and wipe them with a shirt, still keep my current blade in the bathroom and have much less of a problem.
