I think it would be alot easier to get people to try a DE. Of course people using a DE after awhile will want to try a straight eventually.

Straight shaving is not for most people. However if you want to convert someone the way to do it is talk about minimalizm in gear and then how much money they will save over typical shaving gear.

I don't think that would work on my brother. I know it didn't work on my wife once she started seeing all the eBay boxes coming in the mail.

So I showed my brother the way shaving ought to be and he seemed genuinely interested. I think he liked the skin care aspect of it and the relative complex simplicity.
He gave it a whirl under my supervision (that was a tad bit scary!) but he did alright considering...I left him my prima klang and told him to read up carefully before attemping on his own so I think it's a matter of time now before he is hooked, could be wrong though.
