I've been a morning shaver all of my life. Of course, during the summer months I may skip a day or shave after noon, but since I'm an early riser (5:00 A.M.) I usually have no problem having enough time to shave before heading off to work.

I've never been a morning person. In my misspent youth, there were time when I'd miss a shave because I got up late. Since I started with a straight, I really wake up each morning thinking, "What's on today's agenda? Oh, yeah. It's my Pearlex's turn." That's what gets me up. And usually at 6:00 am or so. If I don't start the day with a straight razor in my hand, the day is usually a total wash.

You guys are all too limited in your outlook-I'm an ALLDAY kind of person.Being a taxi driver I have to operate effectively at all times day or night-so whether i get up at 5am or stay out working till 3 am -I have learned to love all aspects of the morning/day/night.I shave accordingly-mostly in the evening.
Long hours are de rigeur.
