I should have noticed his posts since the nick is the same as on the video-posting site. It's just that I'm VERY bad with names. I'm surprised that I still remember mine. Which brings us to the most important question: What about his finger?

Cliff notes version: He performed the hanging hair test poorly.... turned into the hanging fingertip test.

It actually was a COMPLETE success!
The blade went clean through. Even took a sliver of the nail. He said it bled out for about half an hour and started bonding back almost immediately and he was typng with it later that same day. He took pictures, but only after he stuck it back on. Eventually the scabbing peeled right away and you can't even notice it was ever AWOL. Now that's a clean cut.
My advice is just to stick to the hanging hair test, and GO SLOW!!!
