I also shave my pits with my straight. So far No real problems, but I've noticed it is much easier to use a blade that isn't a full hollow. Not sure why, but my Wapi's do a better job, with no worry of getting cut unless the toe gets away from me

This little DE was made especially for that area back in the day. I have never heard if it was effective or not, but it seems like it should work. Blades may be hard to find, I'm sure.

I notice that since I shaved my underarms, there is no more yellowing of my white shirts. Less places for that yellow causing bacteria to hide I guess. I like to do alot of long distance bicycling and shave my nether regions (we're all adults here right?). I find that this makes for less hair pulling while on the saddle for long hours and just more comfort all-around. I can only use my Mach III on my underarms and sensitive parts though!

I shaved mine with a Schick Krona first time ever, no problems. One pass down, one pass up. Not the smoothest job ever, but pretty good for my first try I think.

Did my daughters pits today. A great shave, she was very pleased. Then she asked me to give her man a straight shave and I did. NERVE RACKING AS HELL! Shaving myself is a piece of cake but shaving someone else is seems like a whole different deal (angles, little or no feedback, etc.) I did get through both shaves without a nick though. Both seemed please with the results.
The older I get, the better I was

Great!, I will admit it's a bit nerve racking when I shave hubby's face. I just am not sure how much angle is too much or too little. I have learned to go by the sound, It helps alot..

I occasionally shave Gers neck but I have not shaved his face. I think I would be kinda nervous

The pits are always tricky even with a safety razor, if you want REALLY tricky...try the private areas rofl I have done it for a couple years, just takes forever, tons of lather a big mirror, time and a back ache...don't want to cut there.

Sorry TMI, just saying...might make the pits seem less daunting.
