    Thumbs up

Congratulations to you and your son.

Only if someone had shown me how to straight shave when I was 17...**Sigh**

    Default congrads man

congrads on the father-son shave. I am in the same sitution as your son, very like whisker growth but as they get thicker i will be able to deal with them easer. I wish some one was there to get me started the only thing i had last year was srp to get me all set up on the hows of a straight razor.

    Default Son

I hope one day to teach my son how to use a st8. He is 5 now and told me he is going to use one when he shaves, but it is going to be a real big one.

Good deal! I've got my oldest (16) shaving exclusively with a str8 (lots of cool points for that at school, I'm sure), and my 13-year old "shaving" with his Gilette Super Speed and his favorite Taylor Sandalwood (I didn't care for it). They'll be hooked now!
There are many roads to sharp.

You must be one proud father! Congrats! You've obviously been doing some things right

I hope to one day have a son that I can teach to use a straight.

Last week he asked me what straight razors cost. Maybe there's hope yet!

that's when you hand him one and let him know that they don't cost a thing.
