Rotation of Soaps/Razors or not?
I am currently rotating a different razor and soap/cream every morning when I shave. I truly enjoy using all my products (Razors and Soaps) and I would hate to favor certain products and neglect others. I am considering sticking with certain razors/soaps/creams for a few days in a row to as I think you can get a better feel for that particular product and maximize its result.
I hope this makes sense. Just wondering what others do on a daily basis.

Thanked: 240Variety is the spice of life, I understand those that want to fully get to know their razors but it's not for me I want a different one every day. Its probably because the ladies don't like when you try the same thing so I do it with my razors.

Though some won't agree with me, most soaps and creams actually do expire, as do aftershaves. Castle Forbes and Jack Black print the "12M" logo on their containers, and Proraso and AOS prints a "36M" and "12M" expiration on the box, but not the actual tubes or bottles themselves. This is a standard dating system for cosmetics, meaning that the product is best for 12 (or 36) months from opening.
As such, I rotate creams/soaps and aftershaves/balms daily, only using the same on consecutive days when I travel. I also rotate razors, using a different one each day - but I don't have them scheduled, just whichever I feel like using on that particular day.
This way, I get to enjoy all of my stuff regularly, and use it up before it starts to break down.
Plus, it's just fun making the decision each morning .

Thanked: 1195I rotate both razors and soaps/creams, but not necessarily on a daily basis. Actually, as of late I don't really follow any kind of set schedule. I'll typically use the same razor for a few days in a row, but will mix up my lathers fairly regularly (which could be daily, or after a few days use).
I did follow a shedule for a while, but I guess I got kinda bored of it

I didnt buy them all to sit in the drawer,or to look at. Just pick a diff one each day along with the scent of the day!! Sheffields,German,Wedges, hollows and everything in between. If i had the flow,i would rotate 60,s muscle cars too !!!!!!!!!!!!

Fbones24,
Whilst I choose the razor and soap/cream daily for the enjoyment factor, when I get a new razor, or soap/cream, I will use that exclusively for twelve (12) shaves to get the 'lay of the land'.
Have fun !
Best regards

Thanked: 983Rotate??? The only thing I rotate regularly is the razor for an ATG pass! Having siad that I have recently swopped out two of my CT razors for the only other two I have and I had already swopped out my Gaia cream for a nicer smelling one from Stubear (Thanks again mate).
I usually try to rotate the(two) CT razors daily with a days break for the DE, but that stopped a while back and I was using my Dovo at home, and the other three CT's for travel.
Nothing seems to be fixed to a routine here.

I just use whatever sounds good that day, rather than having a set rotation. I do have pairings that I favor, but usually don't resort to them unless it's a particular occasion, or I can't make a decision within a minute or two.
