I believe it beneficial to shave with your eyes closed. And, to get the benefit you don't have to shave your entire face with eyes closed. In fact, in my opinion, you can gain a lot of benefit from simply placing the blade to your face with your eyes closed even if you don't shave, even if you don't even move the blade.
When you cut off the visual input, other parts of your brain develop. And, when you then shave with your eyes open, the newly developed senses and neuronal pathways are not lost.

Thanked: 983I like to do it occassionally just to keep the other senses honed. It's great for developing a better sense of touch. It's a little difficult in relation to doing it with the eyes open, but not impossible. I use to shave all the time with my eyes closed using the M3 and find I don't feel too uncomfortable doing the same with a Cut-Throat. I reckon I have committed my face, and it's contours to memory now.
