    Experience will do away with any need to numerically count one's passes on the strop.

    If the lather stays on the edge when rinsing the blade, it's too dry.

    I've got the OCD thing too, so I can't deal anymore with loosing count and starting all over.

    My wife loves to ask me questions when I'm stropping. Just have to start counting again, out loud, until I get to one hundred.
