    I wonder of field of depth will be a problem if you cut stubble instead of full-length hairs? Or are you worried about the edges of the picture not being in focus?

    That's a good point. I'm not worried at all about the edges being in focus. I just want a clear view of what's happening at the edge of the razor: how it interacts with skin, and how it interacts with hair. The problem is that the DOF at the magnification I want to get to is less than 1/64 of an inch, so there's not much margin for error when it comes to where the cam is positioned in relation to blade angle.

    darn i was hopeing it would actually show the razor removing a layer of skin on his face, i to wanted to see what the real man looked like underneath all those masks his avatar wears.

    Are you aware that one of your shaves has gone so badly awry that your skull is now upside down? Does that complicate the issues with WTG and ATG passes?
