Thanked: 1371It's exactly the opposite for me.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Thanked: 4942Funny thing for me was that when I used a cartridge razor, I would have to shave twice a day if going out in the evening, but when I get a bbs from the Straight Razor, I am good for at least a full day........

...and another thought
I think the cut is more uniform, so the stubble that comes back is not as irregular of height

It sure feels softer to me. That was something that really suprised me about straight shaving. I had never heard anyone talk about softer stubble. Its softer and does seem to take longer to grow back. Or am I just looking forward to the next shave so much that it seems to take longer to grow back?

3 years with safety razors, made my stubbles thinner and more coarse.
I am in the begining of my SR adventure, and now i will pay attention to my stubble structure in the future.

Tree trunks are tree trunks no matter how I slice them, they just come back slower with a straight

Thanked: 993+1 to what Lynn said. With a Mach 3 I had to shave a second time if SWMBO and I were heading out in the evening.
Now I get a full day with a straight.
And yes, my stubble is much softer than with the M3.
