Sunday Go To Meet'n Razor
I was wondering if anybody besides me has a Sunday Only straight, soap/cream, strop or anything else, including some ritual?
For me:
Razor: Filarmonica DT 14 - Blue Scales
Strop: SRD Premium IV Bridle Leather - 30 strokes fabric, 100 strokes leather (I like to strop)
Cream: Uberlather - Any CarrieM cream, pre de Provence, Soap
Balm: Trumper's Skin Food - Sandalwood
I know exactly what that shave is going to feel like - like I was twelve years old and no hope of ever growing whiskers. I feel great about going to church with my family when I start out my Sunday that way.

My Sunday night razor is usually my old Wade & Butcher. Mostly because it was my first razor and the one I learned to hone and shave with. I Like to take my time on the Sunday evening shave with my favorite blade... good way to start the week for me!

Thanked: 1195Sunday's used to be my switch-over day back when I had a proper rotation, so a fresh razor and soap/cream it would be. I remember it was something to look forward to, at least. I have since become bored with my set rotation and now just go "where the tides take me".

Thanked: 993Saturday and/or Sunday are my shaving nirvana's. I set aside enough time to thoroughly enjoy it, as opposed to during the week when it's a one pass and out the door.
Sometimes I have enough time to get two relaxing shaves in on the weekend, sometimes one. Regardless, here is the lineup:
Razor: Wacker "Finest Hollow" 7/8
Brush: Frank Shaving, 60mm loft, 21mm knot...super floppy.
Soap: Crabtree and Evelyn Sienna
or
Cream: Queen Charlotte LLC Basilica
Post shave: Lush, Mineral Water
Strop: SRD Premium IV, webbed Fabric: 30f/30L, followed by the Premium I, 40 leather.
