    Might I suggest adding to you method a bucket of rocks. Occasionally throw a rock at or as near as you can to the bobber or float. That way the fish don't mess with you while your drinkin. This method also requires no bait.

    I really like your fishing technique! I think I may need to make sure I set up around sufficient rocks in the future to enjoy this experience to its fullest.

    I take my rubbish with me too, but that's just because I'm a sneaky bastard, and don't won't the property owner to know I bin fishin' in his creek!

    I figured that from some of your previous posts. Also kind of a minimalist too if I understand correctly.
