My kit was put in the mail just over a week ago. But the 'hurricane frenzy' on the east coast combined with Ramadan and eid work schedules for Qatari customs has caused some delays.

I forgot all about the Hurricane messing with the mail. That makes some more sense now. All I can say is, painful though the wait is, it's entirely worth it.

    Go figure.
If you get into straight shaving mail ordered products become the norm. Welcome to the wonderful world of Canada Post, where inconsistencies are the rule rather than the exception.....

So I did shave number 2 today, seeing as my strop finally came in. Gave the Wade and Butcher a good 50 laps on that and it finally passed the HHT across the blade. Just a few minor nicks that didn't bleed but showed up afterwards. I have to say, I think I might have a knack for this. Found that soap you were talking about at Shoppers as well, so I'll give that a whirl while I'm out in the field so I don't have to bring my scuttle.
