Boker makes an exellent razor. I can't tell much from your pics, but it looks to be in good shape. You should shave with it and see how YOU like it before you offer to trade it.

I have two 4/8 razors, a Grah's Magnetic and a Mandarin (full hollow) and I find that they are 'more relaxing' to shave with FWIW.
The Mandarin is very fussy about my technique, being full hollow, and it gives me an opportunity to 'fine tune' my angles, pressure etc.
I'd agree with WJF as well. Shave with it and see how you like it 'cause, after all, shaving is such a personal thing.
