I think the term we're hinting at here (if I can borrow it from a local celebrity known as Cigar Dave) is Alpha Male Pleasure Maneuvers. Of course he applies it to the fine art of cigar smoking but I think it applies across the board, cigars, pipes, fountain pens, stylish men's hats, pocket watches, straight razors, vintage safety razors, old cars, etc. And yes, although the two of you are approximately the age of my youngest son, I'm still a huge fan of Alpha Male Pleasure Maneuvers.

I'm 16 and been using straights since 15, I've also done a couple succesfull honings.
I've been lurking around here since the start but this is my first post though.

46 - Started SR shaving about four months ago. I love it and SR shave almost everyday. I wish I would have started years ago. Oh well
