Thanked: 326 and far too addicted for my own good. Also, reading back a few pages, I was diagnosed ADHD when I was in 4th grade. Started shaving at the age of 12 or so. Started using a DE when I was 20 or 22. Got my first straight a few weeks ago, and my next two over the past two weeks. The RAD bug hit hard and fast...

I am 30, and began straight shaving a week ago. I started because I love history, and the quality/way of life from 100 years ago. Not to mention, they perform better than the current disposable cartridges. Oh yeah, Badgers and straight blade shaving is just bad ass

Thanked: 5My grandad gave me a straight razor when I was 18 and I haven't looked back. I'm 22 now, with a pretty modest collection of 5 or 6 vintage restores. I'm trying to remember the number of times I shaved without a straight..... something like 20 or 25 times.
"What is this.... mach?.. 3?.... you speak of...what's that?"
I thank my grandad by using his old razor on special occasions.
